- Why are woodlands important?

The woodlans are important because contain trees that absorb carbon dioxide and transform into oxygen ,we needed oxygen to live. They are important too because created food, stop the erosion, filter water,prevents floods,moderate climate,shelter animals....

- What do you expect to find there?

I expect to find different types of animals (insect, mammals...) and different types of plants.

- What are their main threats?

I think that their main threats are the humans, because we burn the woodlands and we cut the trees too. Other threats are the grazing, clearance,neglect, rubbish and invasion by non native species.

CHECKING FOR	FINDINGS
PLANTS AND TREES pine trees,holm oaks ,cork oaks,palm trees,poplars,olive tree... How many? Can you name them? What do they look like? (healthy,ruined,colourful,beautiful...)	In Los Pinares there was a lot of pine trees, some were ruined but others were more ''beautiful''. There I found different plants and trees: - Chicory - Sweet Potato - Mallow - Dandelion - Bush - False Agave - Tuya - Asparagus Plant - Weed - Tabac Plant - Olives trees - Palm trees - Borago - Pople - Cicas - Tipuana - Furcraea - Wild oats (some of this plants were in other places, weren't in Los Pinares)
SOIL/ ground layer (mossy.lichens,poor,rich,peebly,sandy,stoney,...) thyme,rosemary,heather... Quantity of shrubs,grassland,bushes... What does it look like?	- In some zones of Los Pinares the soil was very poor, dry... In other zones it was very stoney. We found a nest and in one zone there was a lot of bamboo. And there was some zones with mossy.
WILDLIFE Little mammals,insects and creepy crawly,birds,fowls,little reptiles... How many? Can you name them? What do they look like?	- In Los Pinares I saw some birds like robin, pidgeons ,turtle doves and sparrows. I saw an ant nest too. They look like beautifuls.
FACILITIES FOR VISITORS How many ? Can you name them? What do they look like?,	- The wooland has are some stone table and stone bechs for make a picnic. There was a lot of fire places and fountains. There was some singposts of prohibitng, allowing and warning. The fire places were look like very tired and burned. The tables and bechs are very good.
WASTE How much ? What kind? Where?	- In Los Pinares there was little waste. - There was an organic waste as cigarettes, balloons, plastic bottles ...
SURROUNDINGS Feria,Sports fields,Crocodile park,Aqualand... What are they for?	- In the surroundings there was: - A high school '' Costa del Sol'' - A school ''Palma de Mallorca'' - A company of water ''Astosam'' - Parkings - A water park ''Aqualand'' - A ''Cocodrile Park'' - A lot of bars - A sports centre - An hermitage
El molino de Inca A bit of history What was it used for? What´s now? What can you find here?	- El molino de Inca is a botanic garden, it's in Torremolinos. . It was built in 1488. - It was used for the kings. - Now it's use for the turists and for have a good time with your firend and family. And it's use for know different plants and animal.s - Here you can find a lot of plants and animals.

Your opinion I liked/ I didn´t like I think... For me,... In my opinion.... I´d like to...	I really like this journey because now I know a lot of different plants. I liked marrow, dandelion and tabac plant. I think the area of Los Pinares should be best for the animals and for the plants because the soil is very poor and plants doesn't grow.
Your advise We should... We shouldn´t...	We should stop cut so many trees and stop burn them.
